Summer Recital Series - St John’s Ensemble with Elisabeth Cullen (Soprano)
Elisabeth joins the St John’s Ensemble at Nordern Farm Centre For the Arts in Maidenhead for a concert including Schubert’s Duo in A for violin and piano, D.574, Mozart’s Trio for clarinet, viola and piano in E flat, K.498, Mozart Piano Quartet in G minor, K.478 and a selection of songs by Schubert.
In this delightful Viennese programme, two of Mozart’s greatest chamber works rub shoulders with Schubert’s eloquent Duo and a selection of his last songs. Mozart is thought to have written his Kegelstatt Trio whilst playing a game of skittles, while his G minor quartet has a darker and more intense quality.
Taplow Choirs Summer Concert
In this concert at Windsor Parish Church of St John the Baptist, SL1 1LS, Elisabeth will conduct the two younger choirs, Taplow Children’s Choir and Taplow Boys’ Choir as they perform alongside Taplow Girls’ Choir and Taplow Youth Choir. This concert is a culmination of this year’s wonderful music making by very talented and dedicated young people. The choirs will perform a large range of repertoire from all styles, time periods, and genres. It promises to be a very enjoyable, fun and exciting evening.
Duo Recital
Elisabeth is joined once again by Cherry (Hiu Ching) Wong for a recital at All Saint’s Church, High Wycombe, HP13 6RF. The programme explores the development of the song cycle through the 19th century and into the earliest 21st century and features 4 sections: a selection of songs by Robert Schumann, Faure’s ‘Cinq melodies ‘de venise’’, Ravel’s ‘Cinq melodies populaires grecques’ and Quilter’s ‘Seven Elizabethan Lyrics.
Duo Recital
Elisabeth returns to the Beaconsfield United Reformed Church Lunchtime Recital Series joined by Cherry (Hiu Ching) Wong for a programme including Ravel’s ‘Cinq Melodies populaires grecques’ and Quilter’s ‘Seven Elizabethan Lyrics’. Other programme items include music by Purcell, Schumann and Mozart. A light lunch is available from 12pm for those attending the concert.
Taplow Children's and Boys' Choir and Ascott Brass
Ascott Brass and Taplow’s Choirs’ youngest two choirs join for a fun springtime concert of light, enjoyable music. Offerings include: choral music, selected vocal soloists, brass band repertoire and a joint piece including both choirs and members of Ascott Brass. This concert will be held at St Nicholas Church, Taplow - tickets will be available on the door.
Elisabeth Cullen, Samuel Mills and Cherry (Hiu Ching) Wong
In this exciting and varied concert, Elisabeth, Sammy and Cherry will perform at the Salvation Army Regents Hall on Oxford Street London. The repertoire is compiled from repertoire prepared for a competition where Elisabeth and Sammy were shortlisted to represent the Royal Academy of Music. Both singers were amongst highly commended candidates for the Royal Academy of Music Recital Prizes this year. We will hear them perform some of their competition pieces and their favourite works.
Farnham and Bourne Choral Society Christmas Concert
In this concert Elisabeth will join Farnham and Bourne Choral Society as they perform the first part of Handel’s Messiah alongside some other christmas music and some carols for everyone to sing. Elisabeth is delighted to return as a soloist after her previous appearance with the choir in 2022.
Taplow Children's, Boys' and Girls' Choir Christmas Concert
Elisabeth will make her first performance as conductor of Taplow Children’s and Boys’ Choirs in this concert which also features Taplow Girls’ Choir. Repertoire includes some light secular and sacred christmas music and even an opportunity to join in with a couple of our favourite christmas carols.
ABCD Convention Concert (Corra Sound)
Elisabeth will join the outstanding choral ensemble Corra Sound in their programme of choral treasures with themes of water, freedom, travel and female empowerment. There is a focus on repertoire composed by female composers and lesser-known repertoire.
Swift Singers 35th Anniversary Concert
Elisabeth will appear as the guest soloist in a programme of light repertoire with the Swift Singers and their conductor Timothy Rhys-Morgan. She will perform four solo songs as well as a couple of solos for the choir. This concert is sure to send everyone home feeling good!

Taplow Choirs Summer Concert
Elisabeth will be the Guest Conductor for Taplow Children’s and Boys’ choirs as they perform alongside the Girls’ and Youth choirs and their Conductor Gillian Dibden. The programme will include Nigel Hess’ Rats! and a selection of part songs. This concert promises not to disappoint, showcasing some of the best young singers from Berkshire and the surrounding area.

Newbury Chamber Choir Summer Concert
Newbury Chamber Choir finish their 2023-2024 season with a concert of Vierne’s Messe Solennelle, Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb and Willcocks’ Ceremony of Psalms. Elisabeth is delighted to be joining them as a soloist as they explore this challenging but very rewarding repertoire.

Marlow Choral Society - Classics at 5:30
Elisabeth will be joining Marlow Choral Society and fellow soprano Ellie Sperling as a soloist in Vivaldi’s Gloria, Delibes’ Flower Duet from Lakme and Handel’s Eternal Source of Light Divine. Marlow Choral Society and their conductor Jamie Sperling will also perform a number of choral delights as the culmination to their ‘Come and Sing’ afternoon project.

Hurley Music and Arts Festival - Young Soloists Concert
In this concert Elisabeth will be joined by 4 young instrumental soloists from Berkshire and the surrounding areas. She will perform a short recital of repertoire from Handel to Debussy and Schubert to Gurney. Elisabeth is very pleased to have been invited back to perform in this concert after featuring in the Hurley Music and Arts Festival inaugural young soloists concert in October 2023.
